The designers of Nest, Janette Wilkinson and Jana Erwin, love taking something old and giving it new life. This passion was taught to them by their grandmother, an artist with a great eye and ability for repurposing.

Ironically, Janette’s career began in electrical engineering and semiconductor manufacturing. But, she began her fashion obsession at a very early age. After working ten years in an industry that prohibited make-up and jewelry, the girl who at the age of three refused to leave the house without the right shoe and proper handbag decided it was time for a career change.

Janette partnered with Jana Erwin, Interior Designer and owner of the award winning firm, Classic Design, Inc. Jana’s true passion is design. Her attention to detail and keen sense of color and aesthetics adapt easily to the world of fashion.

Birds can make hundreds of trips collecting materials to build their nest. Nest collects natural stones, metals, leathers and vintage finds from around the world bringing them back home to the US where all our pieces are designed and handcrafted. This labor of love has been noticed by many fashion editors from, Lucky, Modern Luxury, D Magazine, and Daily Candy to name a few.
